The Supreme Judicial Council issued a reprimand to judge Artur Stepanyan

The Supreme Judicial Council decided to satisfy the petition of the Ministry of Labor and Employment to subject Artur Stepanyan, judge of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, to disciplinary responsibility and issued a reprimand at the November 24 session.

The mediated evaluation started on November 7 of this year.

According to the Ministry of Justice, the judge committed alleged violations of procedural law norms, Article 17, Part 7, Article 179, Parts 1 and 2 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, that is, he published the final judicial act at least 1 year and 7 months after the deadline, the copy of the final judicial act was provided to the plaintiff in the case at least 1 year and 4 months after the deadline, and it was not provided to the defendant in the case at least 1 year and 7 months after the deadline.

Acting Minister Grigor Minasyan appeared on behalf of the Ministry of Justice, and lawyer Siranush Sahakyan represented judge Artur Stepanyan.
