The Center for International and Comparative Law, with other human rights defender organizations organized a two-day course on "Practical training for submission of complaints for the protection of the rights of Artsakh Armenians".
Through the training organized from August 9 to 10, participants were introduced to the techniques of interviewing war victims, learned how to prepare a testimony as a type of evidence and fill out a complaint form. On both days of the course the participants did practical work to strengthen the theoretical knowledge they acquired.
According to Siranush Sahakyan, director of the Center for International and Comparative Law, the main goal of that course was to equip the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge that are essential for the effective protection of the rights of Artsakh Armenians - “By including practical perts in the meetings we can be sure that our participants will be able to put what they have learned into practice.”
The speakers of the two-day training were Siranush Sahakyan, lawyer Ara Ghazaryan and human rights defender Arman Tatoyan.
