Avetik Mejlumyan received a bachelor's degree in the department of Social Work at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology of Yerevan State University, and a master's degree in the same department of the Faculty of Sociology.
Avetik is a candidate of sciences in philosophy (2009).
Within the framework of his wide work activities, he worked in the "Protection of Rights without Borders" NGO as a team coordinator, in the "Working Group of the Education Strategy of Armenia" of the Asian Development Bank as an expert and coordinator.
Avetik Mejlumyan worked and taught for 10 years at the "Social Work and Social Technologies" Chair of the Faculty of Sociology of YSU.
Avetik worked as a research coordinator and senior analyst at the "Institute of Public Policy" NGO, he is the director of the institute currently.
Avetik Mejlumyan is a program coordinator at “I.C. Law - Armenia”.
